183 69 Täby As part of the I Love Reading to the Moon and Back challenge students need to read a book selected by one of their teachers or the librarian. Grade 5 student, Arian, asked the librarian for a recommendation and, knowing the student’s interest in magic tricks, suggested the book Magic Tricks with Coins, Cards and Everyday Objects, by Jake Banfield. In grade 1 we study the unit Time Detectives and the entry point is an exciting time, as the students get to be archaeologists. This unit is is done in the spring term as it allows for the students to “dig up” the school yard since we have such a fantastic environment.

Idag var vår åk 1 iväg på utflykt till Naturskolan, temat var Jul i naturen. Dem fick lyssna på boken “Kungen av fålarna” och sen fick dem undersöka vilka kryp det finns i julgranen som fåglarna kan äta genom att ska grenarna och se vad som föll ner.
